Mangalore, Jul 1: Following government's decision to increase the fee for professional courses, the All College Students Union (ACSU) has called for all college bundh on Monday July 3.

ACSU has criticized the government for mindless hike in the fee structure of professional courses. The association members further said that though the Supreme Court has ordered the colleges not to collect more than Rs 33,000 as admission fee for professional courses, the state government along with private managements has been collecting even upto Rs 85,000.

The association also blamed that the state government for adopting different standards for students coming under Mangalore University in the entrance test for medical and engineering streams by not taking into consideration the marks scored by students in the PUC exams.
