Mangalore, Jul 2: Up-and-coming Konkani writer, dramatist, and compere Melwyn Castelino (Melwyn Pernal) has been appointed new editor of Mangalore ICYM's official mouthpiece 'Amcho Yuvak' for the year 2006-2007.
He will take charge during annual event on July 2, 2006 in Mangalore
Melwyn is also a correspondent of daijiworld.com, contributing write-ups with innovative themes from Mangalore.
He is also been regularly writing short stories, poems and articles in Konkani for various periodicals and websites.
Twenty seven-year-old Melwyn, holder of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, is working as laboratory superintendent in the department of Mechanical Engineering at the PA College of Engineering (PACE), Mangalore.
