Dubai, May 18 (Emirates 24/7): Dubai Police solved a four-year old murder mystery while investigating another murder case where a woman was killed by her husband and his friend.
In the second case, an Indian man had killed his wife with help from his Pakistani friend and disposed off the body behind some trees in a sandy area near Margham on the Dubai-Al Ain Road.
Maj-Gen. Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Adjutant-General of Dubai Police for CID, said while questioning the husband, who was extradited from India where he had fled after killing his wife, police became suspicious that he was concealing something else. After further questioning, he confessed to killing an East European woman four years ago with the help of his Pakistani friend and disposing off her body near the same place where his wife’s corpse was abandoned.
Also, cameras installed in the building showed the husband and his friend together carrying a bag, putting it in a car and driving away.
A Dubai court sentenced the husband and his friend to death for the murder of the wife.
