M'lore: NSS, Buntara Sangh Kankanady hold blood donation camp

Mangalore, May 18: In a joint collaboration, National Service Scheme and Buntara Sangh Kankanady organized a free dental check-up, blood donation, Oral checkup camp in St Joseph High School at Bajal here on Sunday May 18.

Nitte University NSS cordinator Dr Muruli Mohan Chuntharu inaugurated the programme.











Addressing the occassion he also said "In Mangalore, more than blood scarcity there is shortage of blood donors. Blood donation is a good deed. No donation is greater than the blood donation." He also lauded the efforts of Bunt Sangh organizing this blood donation camp.

On this occassion Ramachandra Alva, vice president Naveenchandra Sevitha and Ramesh Shetty were present.

Vatsala Malli offered prayers. Krishna  Neeramule coordinated the programme. Nagesh Shetty thanked the attendees. 

More than 35 people donated blood. More than 100 people benefitted with dental and oral check ups.

On this occassion Dr Murali Mohan's book Rakthadana- Jeevadhana book was distributed for free.
