Bantwal, Jul 3: The body of Ravichandra Rai who had jumped down from Panemangalore Bridge near here on Saturday July 1 has not yet been traced.  Though expert divers and police have been putting in all efforts to trace his body, they have not yet tasted success.

As reported earlier Ravichandra Rai, an employee with Satya Sai Loka Seva Trust, Alike had jumped into River Netravati from Panemangalore Bridge after pushing his two daughters Shubhashri and Jayashri down.

However, in a great gesture of humanity, five Muslim youth of Goodinabali had jumped into the river and had rescued two children.  Though the young men tried to save Ravichandra too, he had already been washed out of their reach.
