Fisherman drowns at Bhatkal

Bhatkal, May 22: A fisherman is feared to have drowned at Bhatkal Bunder on Wednesday May 21. The deceased is identified as Hariya Timmapa Moger (60), a resident of Mogerkiri, Bhatkal.

Sources said that Hariya left for fishing at 3:30 am . It is believed that he was drowned when he fell into the sea at about 6 am.


The body was found near Bunder.

A case has been registered in Bhatkal rural police station.
