Mangalore: BJP takes out colourful procession to celebrate Nalin's win

Mangalore, May 24: Hundreds of BJP party workers and supporters on Saturday May 24 took out a colourful procession to celebrate the victory of Nalin Kumar Kateel in the recent Dakshina Kannada Lok Sabha elections.

The victory procession was organized by BJP unit of Mangalore South constituency.

The procession which was flagged off at Pumpwell passed through the Karavali circle, Balmatta, Hampankatte, Clock Tower, AB Shetty circle, Ganapathi High School Road, Car Street, New Chitra, Dongerkery, Navbharath circle and PVS. The procession will culminate at BJP office.

The procession included Nasik bands, brass bands, and tableaux which had three persons dressed like BJP leader and Prime Minister-elect Narendra Modi.

Addressing the party members and supporters, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said, "This the victory of BJP party workers who strived hard for our success. This victory was possible because of their hard work."

BJP district president Prathap Simha Nayak, former MLA Yogish Bhat, Nagaraj Shetty, Ravishankar Mijar and others were present.

    Dear Citizens, all these 65 years there was effort to give things FREE, this free, that free, a small part of Fish but did not get the expertise/education on how to fish...which was vital.
    Dear New Govt, our Youth dont want free bees, they need affordable education, job creative infrastructure and industrial development, R&D, expand manufacturing base, Enhance exports and cut down imports, increase higher education/research facilities, stop brain drain, retain the highly professionals, the creators of employment who migrate and create employment elsewhere, since they are not valued in their own place. We lost such people in plenty in these years.. We need a new thinking people in the Govt. We need futuristic education. We must stop our youth looking at elsewhere as a source of livelihood. Give sustained opportunities and all will be on their plate. Nothing is FREE in this World. All has a cost.. Let us wake up and work to transform India into a industrial and economic power, rest all will surely fall in place.... Jai Hind. Gold bless and guide the new Govt to create a developed India for every Indian.

    What is goin on with BJP n NAlin ? They are blockin all traffic in mangalore in the name of celebrations n causin inconvenience to public. WHy cant u guys go door-to-door to thank the voters ? It is not a win to sleep for 5 years like what u did Mr.Nalin during past 5 years.... u slept well. Modi became savior for you, shoba, yeddy, ananthu... all were sure to loose this time but they were really lucky to survive bcz of Modi. Now they very well knw if Modi gives good governance at center then all these inefficient MPs can enjoy life time stay at Lok Sabha. What a boon for these lovely people huh ?

    BUT

    now they have their own government at center. Will Nalin n Shobha ensure halt of Niddodi ? Stoppage of nethravathi diversion ? Will BJP bring back all black money stacked abroad ? Will they build Ram mandir on whose plank they fooled majority hindus many times ? we want to see whether they arrest dawood. We want to see whether they will arrest all UPA corrupt ministers involved in series of multicrore scams like 2G, CWG, Coal gate, Bofors, Adarsh etc. ? If they dont arrest anyone caught in corruption cases then BJP is same as COngres in terms of governance. BJP was taking anti-pak stand so far, suddenly they are following MMS mantra. ... Bottom line is same - for coming to power you use all crook techniquees and then do wht the previous government did,

    As everyone knows this is an unexpected victory for you due to Mr.MODI wave. in next five years you have to concentrate on development of south kanara or people will never give an opportunity. You have totally dedicate yourself to complete following work by making a detailed plan form day one.

    1.Mangalore -Hasan 6 lane express highway with tunnels to remove ghat curves.Direct connectivity to port to Bangalore.

    2.Develop Mangalore port equal to Chennai port so that Bangalore would prefer mangalore port over Chennai port.
    3.Four lane to mudabidri.

    4.6 lane Express highway to Mangalore port to Mysore.

    5.complete /uplift infra structure of MSEZ in line with Gujarat SEZ model.

    Keep a target for this 4 years and at least you can complete by 5 years.If it is not this time it will be never.......
