Puttur, Jul 7: In yet another electrocution case a 28-year-old MESCOM employee was electrocuted at Mahaveer Colony near Kokkada here on Wednesday July 5.

Somshekhar D K (28) was repairing a fault in the electric transfer at Hittilu of Mahaveer Colony.  After repairing the LT line he went to reconnect the line.  However, he was electrocuted after the jumper cut-off and he fell on the wire.

Somshekhar hailed from Devihalli in Hassan district.  It was only a few months ago that he had joined MESCOM.

A complaint in this regard has been filed in the Nelyadi police station.
