Rama Sevaka Sangha Vadala enacts 'Satsanvada Dharmanchara'

Mumbai, May 29: Artistes of popular Sri Ramamandira's Rama Sevaka Sangha in the city enacted a well-known Konkani drama 'Satsanvada Dharmanchara' at the Kalidasa Hall in Mulund on Sunday May 25. The play was well appreciated by the audience.

The play was created by Kasargod Kopinath Kamath (Gopimam) and was presented by Limca fame Dr Chandrashekar Shenoy. The hardwork and determination of the artistes were responsible for the success of the presentation.


The acts and dialogues of the chief artiste blind Devanna Bhat (Kamalaksha Sarafa) were exemplary. Melodious music by Haridasa (Balachandra Prabhu), act of the villain Shivaraya (Anand Raya Kini), the sad person's act of Ganga (Vasuda Prabhu), Subbanna Bhat's stage preparation, Kalakali and Dhani's (Ravinda Pai) acts were the attractions of the play.

Chandavar, V V Pai and Shaila Pai also acted in the play. Stage, language and music was well matched for the occasion.
