Kundapur: Accused in Jain Basadi case arrested for another theft

Kundapur, Jun 3: Santhosh Das alias Ghansham Das, the main accused in the theft of the idols belonging to Siddantha Mandira of Jain Basadi was handed over to Kundapur police for interrogation regarding the theft at Mahakali Temple at Kharvikere here.

The police presented him in Kundapur court and requested for judicial custody considering the need for additional investigation. The court responded positively for the request.


The police took him into two days of judicial custody suspecting that he was involved in the theft at Kundapur Mahakali Temple.
