Mangalore, Jun 5: “People who couldn't tolerate the growth and achievement of ADGP P Ravindranath tried to defame him. If a senior and sincere ADGP officer is facing such harassment, what about the common man?" said professor M P Umeshchandra.

He was  speaking at the protest organized by the D K District Dalit Organizations’ Union against the detractors of P Ravindranath at DC office on Wednesday June 4.

"When the feudal government was in administration, the dalits, the backward castes and the minorities aspire for ‘Ahinda’ administration. In the case of ADGP Ravindranath, the Congress government is displaying an anti-Dalit attitude,” he added.

“Atrocities against the women, the dalits and the minorities continue even during the reign of the Siddaramaiah government,” he said.

Nirmal Kumar, the advisor of D K District Dalit Organizations’ Union, Ramesh Kotian, M Chanadappa and Anand Belare were present.
