Indian dead in car accident in UAE


Dubai, June 9 (IANS): An Indian expatriate was killed and four others were severely injured in a car accident in the UAE, a media report said.

The deceased, 30, identified only as RAA, died in a collision of two cars in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK)-Manama Road in the UAE's Sharjah, while four others sustained serious injuries Sunday, Gulf Times reported Monday

The victim died at the Al Dhaid Hospital in Sharjah.

Police said that the accident occured because of failure by drivers to follow traffic rules.
