Kasargod: Mechanic dies of electric shock

Kasargod, June 10: A mechanic employed in a honda bike showroom at Karandakkadi here died after getting a electric shock while working.

The deceased idintified as Udaya (35), a resident of Adkathabail Arjal, was filling the tire with air using a compressor when he got an electric shock. His colleagues who saw it immediately disconnected the electricity and rushed him to the hospital but could not be saved.


A case has been registered in the town police station. Police have said that the investigation will be held under the leadership of the electrical inspector.
