Mangalore, Jun 11: T S N Murthy, IRS (1991) who was working for four years as the deputy chairman, NMPT has been repatriated to his parent department on JUne 6 and has been posted as commissioner – Income Tax.


During his tenure he made the port a green and clean port by planting more than one lac sapling and also created additional water bodies in and around the port for which the port has been awarded with the Green Tech. consistently for two years in addition to the Aranya Mitra Award. He also contributed for the growth of the port during his tenure.
