Mangalore, Jun 13: Thieves struck a gas agency, a car service centre and a garage at Ladyhill here during the intervening night of Thursday June 12 and Friday June 13.
The thieves broke into HP gas agency, Maruti Auto Point service centre and Baba Auto Works.
At the HP gas agency, the thieves entered by removing the window using a steel rod.
It is said that the thieves could not find any money, but they took away cylinders and tools from the garage, the shutter of which was pried open.
In the HP gas agency, books were and papers were found strewn all over the floor, indicating that the thieves might have been searching for money or something valuable.
