Mangalore: Youth arrested for raping minor girl

Mangalore, Jun 14: A youth has been arrested on charges of raping a minor on Friday June 13.

The accused is identified as Tauseef (24), a resident of Suratkal.

Tauseef allegedly raped a 16-year-old girl from Kerala who works as a labourer in an industrial area here. She stays with her father at Panambur, it is said.

As per police sources, Tauseef told the girl that he loved her, and took her to his rented room at Falnir, where he allegedly sexually exploited her. The girl, after coming home, narrated the incident to her father, who in turn filed a complaint against Tauseef in Panambur police station.

Tauseef was arrested on Friday night and produced in the court on Saturday June 14 evening.

The Panambur police have booked Tauseef under sections 4 and 17 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences 2012 and IPC sections 376 (rape) and 506 (criminal intimidation).

    • A woman cannot speak alone to a man who is not her husband or relative.
    • Meat to be eaten must come from animals that have been sacrificed to Allah - i.e., be Halal.
    • Muslims should engage in Taqiyya and lie to non-Muslims to advance Islam.
    • The list goes on.

    both are responsible. 16 years girl is not a child , not to understand anything. Why the hell she joined him to his room. Where were the parents then. Please monitor your children very closely. Whole society is full of such socail evils who will be looking for some victims. So, don't blame anybody after the disaster. Also girls, you can not just escape just by blaming these criminals. you are also responsible for getting in to such problems. Be cautious and just focus on your safety and future.
