Five killed in Afghanistan roadside bomb blast


Kabul, June 16 (IANS): At least five civilians were killed Monday in a roadside explosion in Afghanistan's Kandahar province, the interior ministry said.

"The roadside bomb was planted by the Taliban along Arghistan-Boldak road. The explosion killed five on the vehicle. The victims, including three children, were members of one family," the ministry said in a statement.
