Mexican president forecasts victory over Brazil

Mexico City, June 16 (IANS): Mexico President Enrique Pena Nieto has forecast that the country's football team will defeat Brazil in the FIFA World Cup on Tuesday.

"We will defeat Brazil in the field and in the number of fans. Let's cheer our national team and let them know we support them from Mexico," Pena Nieto said on Twitter Sunday, reports Xinhua.

Mexico will face hosts Brazil at the Estádio Castelão in Fortaleza.

The national football federations of Mexico and Brazil made a bet on the number of fans who will be at stadium Tuesday. The loser will have to donate a signed shirt to a charity institution chosen by the rival team.
