Udupi: Thieves loot passenger in Netravati Express

Udupi, Jun 18: A person travelling in the Netravati Express lost his belongings in the wee hours on Monday June 16.

Durgesh Sharma (29), a resident of Kodialbail, Mangalore had left to Mangalore from Mumbai at 11.40 am via Nethravathi Express. On  Monday June 16 at 4.25 am, when the train arrived at Indrali Railway Station, Durgesh went to the washroom; when he returned his bag was missing.

The bag had important documents and valuables like laptop, hard disk, camera, modem, ID card etc. The total worth of lost items is said to be approximately Rs 15,000.

A case has been registered in the Manipal police station.
