Udupi: Catholic Sabha holds awareness programme on govt benefits

Udupi, Jun 21: Catholic Sabha, Udupi Varado, organized an awareness programme regarding government facilities available to minorities on Sunday June 15 at Velankanni Mathe Holy Place, Kalmadi.

Fr Alfhan D’Souza gave the inaugural speech and said that there was need to create awareness about the government benefits provided to minorities.


Charles Quadras spoke about the government schemes, facilities, and scholarships intended for the minority community.

Lewis D’Almeda presided over the programme. Ujin Lasrado welcomed the gathering while Flavia Mathias compered the programme and delivered the vote of thanks.

Ronald D’ Almeda, Mary D’Souza, and Sanjay Andrade were present.
