Bantwal: Uprooted tree disrupts traffic

Bantwal, June 21: A tree was uprooted and it fell on the road; thus disrupted traffic for sometime on Friday June 20.

The tree fell on the Kalladka–Kananghad interstate highway. The vehicles plying from Mangalore to Vitla and Kerala and from Vitla to
Mangalore were lined up on the road.


School vehicles and students faced a hard time; however the locals set the tree at the side with a rope and cleared the road.
