New Delhi, Jul 22: Former BJP leader Madan Lal Khurana on Saturday said he had sought an appointment with Congress chief Sonia Gandhi in connection with his allegations against former external affairs minister Jaswant Singh over the 1999 Indian Airlines hijack.
The former Delhi chief minister told reporters he would hand over to Sonia copies of complaints against BJP leaders L K Advani and Sushma Swaraj.
The expelled BJP leader has made a series of allegations against Advani and Sushma, which the party has dismissed as baseless and acts of ‘blackmail’ by him.
He said he would lead a multi-party protest against the BJP on Monday before the start of the monsoon session.
Earlier this week, Khurana and Congress leader R K Anand accused Jaswant Singh of having paid ransom to the IA hijackers under international pressure, a charge denied by the former external affairs minister.
