Mangalore, Jul 25: Konkani Yuva Awaz has organized a rally on Tuesday July 25 evening protesting the attack on "Hotel Ashirwad" at Kulshekar near here on Monday July 24 afternoon.
A protest rally will be held in front of the Kadri police station at 4 pm on Tuesday. Before that protestors will come on a procession from Holy Cross Church premises at Kulshekar to Kadri police station. Advocates M P Noronha, Ivan D'Souza and M G Hegde will address the rally.
Earlier more than 50 persons gathered in front of the Kadri police station and staged protest on Monday July 24 evening and demanded the immediate arrest of the accused. MCC corporators Bhaskar Moily, Naveen D'Souza were also present on the occasion.
Responding to their appeal, the police immediately sent team to arrest the accused based on the information provided by one of the miscreants who had been caught by public on Monday near Hotel Ashirwad.
Later Suratkal MLA J Krishna Palemar visited the protestors and promised them that the accused would be held soon.
