Udupi, Jul 27: Bits 'n' Bytes, as the name indicates, the IT club of St Mary’s Syrian College Brahmavar was inaugurated in the college premises recently.
Kishore Gonsalves, webmaster of www.barkuronline.com was the chief guest and college principal K Narayanan presided over the function. Head of department of the Computer Applications section Manjula Poojarthi and club Secretary Suhas were on the dais.
The Club was inaugurated by Kishore Gonsalves and others on the dais joined him in lighting the inaugural lamp. Speaking on the occasion, principal Narayanan praised the students for professionally organizing the programme on their own.
Shridevi welcomed the gathering and Anita proposed the vote of thanks and Pavitra conducted the proceedings.
Later Kishore Gonsalves gave a presentation on the website www.barkuronline.com and basic designing and hosting aspects of website.
