Mangalore: Jul 27: Anuj Castelino, a student of SDM Law College has been elected as the president of the Regional All College Students' Union for 2006-07.

At the elections held at Venkappa Poonja hall, Bunts Hostel on Wednesday, Jul 26, Nishan Bhandary of St Aloysius College has been elected general secretary along with Gaurav Shetty of Mahaveer College, Moodbidri and S Sukumar Shetty of Vaikunta Baliga Law College, Udupi.

Speaking to press persons here on Wednesday, advocate M R Shenava the election officer said that the total of 102 college presidents had participated in the election.

Madanthyar SHS College student union president Donald M, Upendra Pai Memorial College student union president Abdul, St Philomena’s College, Puttur student union president Sachin Raj, Davala College Moodbidri president Arshid Hussain and Caren D'Mello of the School of Social Work, were elected vice-presidents.
