M'lore: Protestant Christian Welfare Assn celebrates Vanamahotsava

Mangalore, Jul 2: Protestant Christian Welfare Association and CSI Karunya Church jointly celebrated Vanamahotsava by planting the saplings in the large cemetery of the church on Sunday June 22.

The programme was presided by Stephan Maroli, president of Protestant Christian Welfare Association. Secretary Jayavanti started the programme and spoke on the occasion.


Pasteur Kripakiran Ayya of CSI Karunya Church inaugurated the programme with a prayer. The saplings for the occasion were provided by president Stephan Maroli. Those who had gathered then planted saplings of teak.

Members of executive committee of CSI Karunya church, Manohar Ammanna, treasurer of Protestant Christian Welfare Association and member of
the executive committee Pravin Karkada were present on the occasion.
