Mangalore, Jul 31: The Anti-rowdy Squad police led by inspector Vinay Gaonkar on Monday July 31 morning have arrested two persons who are said to be accomplices of a notorious underworld don.  The police have also seized a pistol and a revolver from them.
The police raided a hideout near Kavoor after receiving a sure tip-off and arrested Suresh Kumar alias Karate Suresh, a resident of Kambalakodi near Malpe and Sheena alias Srinivas Shetty of Kavoor. 

During the raid police also seized an Italian-made pistol and German-made revolver from them.  The reports said that both the arrested have identified themselves with a notorious underworld don who is based in the Middle-east.

Karate Suresh has several cases filed against him in the police stations with regard to murder, murder attempt etc. Sheena alias Srinivas is a rickshaw driver by profession and has identified with the said don recently.

This is for the second time that police are arresting the accomplices of this particular underworld don.

The arrested have now been handed over to Kavoor police station for further enquiry.
