Puttur, Aug 9: Mohammad Sattar (25), prime accused in the Akshata murder case was on Wednesday August 9 morning produced before the court by the police. The court later remanded him to judicial custody.
As reported earlier Sattar had surrendered before the Puttur town police inspector Mukund Nayak on Monday August 7 midnight. However, he was later taken to Mangalore by the DCIB police who are investigating the case.
On Wednesday he was brought to the town with adequate police security and was produced before the court.
Meanwhile some sources said that police are planning to send Sattar for narco analysis test.
