Mangalore, Aug 12: The orthopaedic department of Fr Muller Medical College, in association with SH Pitkar Orthotools Pvt Ltd, Pune is organizing a "Spine Workshop" with the latest and cost effective instrumentation at the Conference Hall of the institution on Sunday August 13.
The workshop will focus on training young orthopaedic surgeons in spine surgery on bone models followed by lecture and a live surgery by Dr Sanjay Dhar from Nair's Hospital, Mumbai.
Dr P Mahabala Rai, head of the orthopaedic department will be the chairman of the scientific committee and associate professor Dr Jacob Chacko is the organizing secretary of the workshop.
