Ajman, Jul 23: For the first time in its history, GMC Hospital, Ajman will be holding a Free Mega Health Camp exclusively for pregnant women on Thursday July 24. Special discounted delivery package will be given to those who register on the day, irrespective of their stage of pregnancy.
People can avail this offer from 9 am to 3 pm and 8 pm to 11 pm on Thursday July 24.
Highly experienced doctors and experts from the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology will conduct free consultation and check-up for pregnant women.
The hospital administrators said that they felt that the pregnant women needed special care during the holy month of Ramadan and hence they wanted to offer them the most economical delivery packages. It is said that they could also enjoy a discount in caesarian cases.
Women who are expecting and want to avail the facility can register and book the package on the day and they can take the benefit of special discounted rates for delivery along with 20% off on laboratory tests and radiology.
"We have been holding such camps regularly from many years as a part of our corporate social responsibility. This year the camp will be held exclusively for pregnant women," said Akbar Moideen Thumbay, director, operations healthcare division of Thumbay Group.
"We strongly believe that healthy people make healthy nations and hence we contribute our mite to address health issues regularly through such camps," he added.
