Mangalore, Aug 14: ‘Pride of India’, a book published by Sanskrita Bharati was released on Sunday, Aug 13.
The book was released by Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE0 former vice-chancellor B M Hegde.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that knowledge of our nation is found in foreign countries. But one may be amazed to find that foreigners know of India in many perspectives which even an Indian would not have developed. He also spoke on the blind imitation of Western models.
The chief guest of the programme was MLA Capt Ganesh Karnic.
Shatvadani Ganesh was also present at the programme.
