Mangalore, Aug 14: A housewife who had sustained serious burn injuries in a fire mishap on May 23 at Permude near here succumbed to the injuries on Saturday August 12 in a private hospital here.

Hilda Lobo (45) had sustained serious burn injuries after her clothes caught on fire while cooking on a stove at her home on May 23.  She was immediately admitted to a private hospital in the city.  Despite continuous treatment, she did not recover and finally died on Saturday.

Bajpe police have registered a case in this regard.
