Udupi / Kaup, Aug 16: Kunjur Sports Club, an active organization of youngsters from Kunjur here, has donated 30 school bags to the students of Anganawadi school at Durganagar in Kunjur.
On the occasion of the Independence Day, Yellur gram panchayat chairperson Yashawant Shetty hoisted the national flag at the school. Kaup Jaycees president Deepak Kumar Yermal handed over slates to the students as donation.
Former taluk panchayat president A K Suleiman, gram panchayat member Rahim Kunjur and others were present on the occasion.
Rakesh Kotian welcomed the gathering. Sunil Kunjur proposed a vote of thanks.
