Udupi: Dr Boralingaiah transferred, Rajendra Prasad to take charge as SP

Udupi, Aug 1: Udupi district superintendent of police (SP) Dr Boralingaiah has been transferred, after a stint of more than two years.

P Ranjendra Prasad will replace Dr Boralingaiah.

The state government on Thursday July 31 passed the order to transfer five IAS and 31 IPS officers across the state.

Dr Boralingaiah has been transferred as the SP of Davangere.

Rajendra Prasad, has served as SP in Chamarajanagar. He was promoted to the rank of IPS officer in the year 2013.

Dr Boralingaiah had assumed charge as SP of Udupi on January 27, 2012.

    Who knows the reason behind the transfer (SP) Dr Boralingaiah is arresting karkala school rape case suspects Venkataramana Kalkura and Suresh Shetty and other 2 teachers.

    Yes, like Musical chair play by the existing BJP Government in central transferring and shuffling of Governors. These are all so called whims and fancy of our Democracy and tit to tats of new Governments as and when they take over from Opposition ones!! JAI HO!!Let 1.2 billion Indian vote for a Military Rule for 5-10 years, these types of foul plays, dirty politics, scams, corruptions, Goondagiris of MLA/MPs all will stop!!I still remember the good days of 1077 Emergency Rules across India though it was for a few months/year....JAI HO!!

    Now a days they shift Police commissioners same like Ambassadors. They see different places in such a short time. Making as much on out station allowances on poor tax persons burdens. Jai Hind. In future people send you children to police force and not in politics. There is more scope.

    Mr. Borelingiah has indeed served the Udupi District very well. He is held in high esteem by all those who have come in contact with him.

    As a very dedicated officer he found time to interact with any one who had gone to him with any difficulty. He was a PROBLEM SOLVER. His relocation to Davanegere is a great loss to Udupi.

    I join several others in wishing him well in his future career.
