London, Aug 2 (IANS): Hollywood star Tom Cruise, who is filming the fifth instalment of the "Mission: Impossible" franchise here, surprised revellers at a horse racing event here.
He showed up at the event at the Glorious Goodwood racecourse looking dapper in a grey suit, blue tie and sunglasses Thursday, reports contactmusic.com.
Cruise presented the Magnolia Cup trophy to English supermodel Edie Campbell, who rode the winning horse in the ladies' charity race. He also posed with the guests and mingled with royalty during the Ladies' Day celebrations.
He received a special welcome by the British Army's Yorkshire Regiment band, which played the theme tune from his famous action movie.
