For 'Budugu', director discussed with child psychologists

Chennai, Aug 3 (IANS): Director Manmohan, who is awaiting the release of his Telugu family thriller "Budugu", says he held discussions with child psychologists as part of his research process for the film which is based on real incidents.

"My story is based on real incidents of a family known to me. Shocking things had happened to the 8-year-old boy in the family. In order to understand the psyche of a child under pressure, I met child psychologists and discussed deeply," Manmohan told IANS.

"While the story revolves around the family, the focus is on the kid in it. Sessions with the child psychologist immensely helped in making the shoot with the kid easier," he added.

The film features Lakshmi Manchu in the lead, while Sana, Indu Anand, Baby Dolly and Shailja Vani play important roles.
