Mangalore, Aug 22: In order to mark the 35th year celebration of Chitra Bharati, a Tulu language film festival and photography exhibition will be held, informed president of Chitra Bharati, T A Kamath.
The programme will be held on Aug 28. Cine actor Avinash and actress Malavika will inaugurate the Tulu film festival at Jyoti Theatre here. Film director K N Tailor will preside over the programme. M Raghunath Shet of S L Shet Diamond House and B Madhav Bhandary of NSS will be the chief guests, informed Kamath.
At 11 am, state president of Tulu Sahitya Academy M K Seetharam Kulal will inaugurate the photography exhibition. CAD Media director Dinesh Rao will preside over the programme. A Sadanand Shetty of Sri Devi Education Trust and DK district Working Journalists’ Association president B Ravindra Shetty will be the chief guest.
