Mangalore, Aug 23: In a quick and planned operation by the District Crime Intelligence Bureau (DCIB) seized 105 liters of illicit liquor worth Rs 60,000.

Two boats used to transport the liquor were confiscated. The cops have also arrested two persons Devadas Amin (42) and Rajesh (27). However several others involved in the activities like Shankar Karvy, Vazi, Ramachandra and Vijay Mendon escape.

The DCIB based on the information that illicit liquor transport has been taking place between Adamkudru to Bengre raided Kotepura Ullal near River Netravati on Monday evening.
