Daijiworld Media Network – Belthangady (EP)

Beltangady, Aug 8: A body of a youth was found on Wednesday August 7 in a farm belonging to Babu Gowda, a resident of Pangala in Dharmasthala.

The deceased has been identified as Ramakrishna (28), a resident of Kadaba Kaniyooru. The body was found in a nude state woth a piece of waist-cloth (lungi) tied around the neck and was lying near a tree with a piece of cloth still hanging tied to the tree.

The body lying in Babu Gowda's farm has given rise to suspicions. Though it appears that the youth fell and died after sustaining injuries to the head, there are neither marks of blood on the stone below or marks of any injury on the head.

If it was a suicide, what was the purpose of going naked. Sources say that he was employed in a nearby lodge. Doubts have risen as to whether he was killed because he came to know certain secrets. However, things can be known only after police investigation.

Beltangady police have visited the spot while fingerprint experts and senior police officials are expected to arrive soon.

Rest in peace. Looks like clear case of suicide. When he decided to end his life he might have wearing only lungi. Half piece of lungi hanging in tree and half piece around clearly indicating that lungi is too old and couldn't hold the weight for long time. Police investigation will reveal the truth
