Mangalore, Aug 16: The police have registered two cases in connection to the deaths of Shailesh, owner of Akshaya Finance, at Urwa Chilimbi Hoigebail in the city, and his wife and child. Shailesh, it is assumed, fed ice cream laced with poison to his wife and daughter before committing suicide by hanging himself.

Murder case under Indian Penal Code (IPC) section 302 for killing wife, Savitha, and daughter, Vidyalaxmi, has been registered. Three others, Uday, Rajesh Shetty, and Anil, face a case under IPC section 306 relating to abetment to suicide, the police said.

Bodies of Shailesh, his wife, and daughter, were found in the family's residence at Hoigebail here on Thursday August 14. The suicide note left behind by Shailesh had named Uday and two others as persons responsible for this act. The trio had died on Tuesday, it is suspected.

In the four-page death note, Shailesh named several persons including Uday. Shailesh stated that Uday had been pestering him to pay him money, even though Shailesh reportedly did not owe him anything. He was constantly asking him money that someone else had given, Shailesh said, adding that Uday even filed a complaint against him with police and attempted to slander his name in some of the media too.

"It was projected that I owed him Rs two crore, and when my wife and child came to know of this, they were horrified and did not want to live anymore. My reputation was harmed in some of the media which had published a picture of me putting a garland of currency notes on a person disguised in tiger costume," stated the death note.

Urwa police is investigating the cases.

Whatever it is, child is innocent and whatever u give, the child eats and whatever u say it does. Killing such child is not a decent manner. Child has to see the world still. Really he should not have taken this drastic steps instead lodging a complaint.

Decent people like Shailesh should not have ventured in to Finance Business. Actually Finance Business can be run successfully only by Rowdies who can recover their loan with muscle power. Decent people cannot recover the loans given by their finance company and ultimately they will have to meet the tragic end like Shailesh.
