Indian expatriate killed in road accident in UAE


Dubai, Aug 18 (IANS): An Indian expatriate died in a road accident in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), a media report said Monday.

The unidentified Indian man, 28, died after a speeding car crashed into his motorcycle in Sharjah last week, the Khaleej Times reported.

The victim died before the paramedics reached the scene and his body was shifted to Al Qasimi Hospital in Sharjah.

Police have arrested the car driver and further investigation is under way.
