Kasargod: Mortal remains of Zeenath Rehman reaches home; final rites performed

Kasargod, Aug 23: The dead body of Zeenath Rehman (32), a resident of Mogral Puttur, who died in a road accident in New Zealand has been brought to her home town. The family of the deceased have said that the mortal remains will be buried in the vicinity of the Juma Mosque in Mogral Puttur town on Friday August 22 evening.

The body reached Bangalore from New Zealand by flight at 9.30 am. It was brought home by ambulance and reached her residence at 4 pm. Her husband Zunaid and daughter Lanika had reached home two days ago. Zeenath Rehman passed away in a car accident that occurred in New Zealand on August 17.

She was the business owner of senior citizens center in New Zealand and died when her car hit the divider while she was returning home after work.
