Kamal Haasan's 'Uttama Villain' to release before 'Vishwaroopam 2'

Chennai, Aug 25: Tamil comedy film 'Uttama Villain', featuring actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan, recently wrapped up and will release before his spy-thriller 'Vishwaroopam 2' is out, which is currently stuck in the post-production phase.

"There's a lot of graphics work is involved in Vishwaroopam 2, hence the delay. It will only release after Uttama Villain, which should be out very soon," a source said.

'Uttama Villain' is said to be the story of an ageing superstar, played by Mr Haasan, who has also penned the story of the film. The film also features Jayaram, Andrea Jeremiah, Pooja Kumar and Haasan's mentor K. Balachander in important roles.The film is directed by famous Kannada actor Ramesh Arvind.

Mr Haasan is currently busy shooting for Tamil thriller 'Papanasam', a remake of Malayalam blockbuster 'Drishyam'.
