Mangalore, Sep 1: "Devdas Kapikad is a renowned artiste in Tulu theater and cinema, and now he has ventured into restaurant business. Let this restaurant flourish and reach greater heights in the coming days," said Umesh Acharya, priest and brother of renowned astrologer Ashok Purohit.
He was addressing the gathering after inaugurating 'Kapikad's Food Court', a restaurant launched by popular Tulu actor Devdas Kapikad, at Royal Chambers building near PVS circle here on Monday September 1.
Karnoor Mohan Rai welcoming the gathering and said, "Hotel and theatre are two separate fields. May Devdas Kapikad also achieve success even in this field."
Ashok Purohith who blessed the occasion and performed puja said, "Kapikad is a successful actor, and now he has ventured into restaurant business. May his business grow to great heights."
Devdas Kappikad said, "Several people who have supported and blessed me in the field of theatre have gathered here today to bless me on this occasion. This hotel is my son Arjun Kapikad's dream. He was interested in setting up this hotel. It is responsibility of the parents to support children. I hope people will bless me in my new endeavour."
