Man from Bhatkal passes away in Kuwait

Bhatkal, Sep 2: Abdul Rawoof Gangawali (42), hailing from Bhatkal Nawayath colony Usmaniya street passed away in Kuwait yesterday on Sunday, August 31.

According to a source, he fell on the road while going to evening prayer on August 21 and sustained major head injuries. He was found lying near a mosque and was later admitted to the ICU of Mubarak Al Kabeer hospital Kuwait.

However, sources said that it is suspected to be a case of murder.

For the last 20 years, he was working in a real estate company in Kuwait. He had come down to Bhatkal in July 2014.

He is survived by four children and his wife.

The final rites were held on Monday September 1.
