Indian woman charged for having illegitimate child

Dubai, Sep 2 (IANS): An Indian man filed a case in a court in the UAE against his wife, who gave birth to a child in 2010 despite their not having sex for eight years, a media report said Tuesday.

The man, who is identified only as R.J, 48, said he moved to a new job in Kuwait in 2006 and left his wife and only son in the UAE.

R.J said that last year his friends, who live in the UAE, told him that his wife had given birth to his child in 2010.

"I knew then that she gave birth April 22, 2010, to a boy at the Welcare hospital (Dubai) and registered him under my name - but we hadn’t had sex since 2006 and he couldn’t be my son," R.J was quoted as saying.

The husband then went to a police station and file a case against his wife, S.S,40, who is a nurse.

She was then charged with having consensual sex with a man other than her husband and having a child with him.

She was also charged with forging the child's birth certificate by registering him under her husband's name.

In addition, she was charged with using the forged certificate to obtain a residency visa and UAE identity card for her son.

S.T, 44, who is also an Indian, the biological father of the child, was charged with having consensual sex with the nurse.

Both defendants denied the charges at the Dubai Criminal Court Tuesday morning.

Medical examination confirmed that the defendants were the biological parents of the child.

The next hearing is Sep 23.

Why should this man leave his wife without sex for so many years? It is better they part honorably instead of fighting a case.

Whatever they have done is done. Think about those small kids. The court decision will devastate the children's life. They were born that is not their fault.....I request the court to make rightful decision keeping the life of children in mind. Just imagine if the 2 two children are taken away by two father's....... Sorry....cannot see the children crying for mother.

Please do not give wrong information to world, u r on social media. The Husband n Wife normally separate because of Bread n Butter for life. There r many Ladies in India n other part of the world living without husband because husband lives in Gulf countries for family needs, he work n give good future to his family. Here both should respect their married life n sacrifices few body needs. If Husband or Wife want to some other Man or Women should come forward n file divorce n daringly get other marriage done, this is system.
Shouldn’t practice any bad habits n should faithful each other. Falvian look like do not assume things, please comment or work on evidences.

What a shame?. If you are involved in a illicit relationship then you have to face the music.Husband did the right thing to report the matter to the authorities. Let them spend their life in the jail.

I am not aware of the law in Dubai and in the other Gulf states. Under the law in India, to be more specific, under the Indian Evidence Act, when a child is born while a marriage is sustaining, the husband of the woman is legally the father irrespective of the biological father being a different person than the husband. In the Gulf states the case under discussion could be construed as adultery depending upon the faith of the persons concerned. In that case the punishment for the woman is very severe.

R.J. you are a fool if you have not looked after your wife's sexual needs for so many years. Shame on you to disclose to the world all such personal things.

May be you have some sex related problems. In case you have treated your wife intentionally, you cannot blame her now. She has to sort out solve this problem.

They have discovered a new 'checking' machine for all this. Now nothing is 'fool proof'.
This machine was first used in B'lore the other day in 'Maithreya-Gowda' case. Is it not?
    All Babaas, Mullahas,Swamijis, Priests,Fathers, Imaams, Bhats ,
etc etc and all godmen will have to be doubly careful now if they have the 'inclination' after the 'discovery' of this machine! The machine's name is 'UDoItell'and it's from Japan.

If you can not live with your wife or husband why the hell you people get married, remain bachelor or spinster. Marriage is meant to stay together no matter good or bad times. Marriage is not to come together to stay away. To make money and ruin some ones life please do not marry.

The husband left to Kuwait. But do they didn't have any more contact ?atleast Telephone or not visited ever since ?strange. Here are children who are suffering now in between the People.Atleast why did he not took interest about his Family?now he has filed case .Of course, his wife had Chosen a wrong way.He too is partly having fault.Instead of bringing out in public he could have settled internally by between themselves either by DNA test and with lawyers. For children it is not good.wife too had to think of certain things about them.

    Left for Kuwait in 2006

Wife gave birth to second child in 2010

He filed the case in 2014!!

    do the math...
    a) Where was he for those four years from 2006 to 2010?
    b) Where was he from 2010 to 2014?

something fishy here.. If you leave your wife for 8 years and then cry foul ? Everybody is a human being and it is a human want. This was a case of human neglect by the husband.
