Mangalore, Sep 3: Two persons who reportedly threw bottles at a house were arrested by the Ullal police. The arrested youth have been identified as Kavit (25) and Avinash (28) from K C Road.

It is learnt that a party relating to a marriage function of the sister of Vijay had been arranged in a house in Valapete in Thokkottu. Lot of people attended the function. At night, a few youth danced at the marriage venue to DJ music which was blared through the loudspeaker. As this created lot of disturbance to the neighbouring house during the night, the neighbours had objected to the same. This demand gave rise to a heated exchange of words between some youth and the family members. Reportedly, there was preexisting enemity between two families since sometime.

While returning from the party late night, the accused, who were drunk at the time, reportedly hurled empty bottles at the house of Ravikala and damaged her house. A complaint had been filed relating to the incident in Ullal station. Both the accused were produced in court.
