Udupi, Sep 4: Tingale Vikramarjuna Hegde, president, BJP district unit, organized a press meet on Wednesday September 3 at the BJP office here.

Addressing the media persons, he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has completed 100 days successfully at the centre. “He has proved himself a master at developing India. He has extended his reach to the Eastern countries. India is moving up in the share market. The situation has changed compared to the UPA government,” he said and cited the lowering of petrol prices as an example.

Hegde said, “The Jan-Dhan Scheme shows his agenda of inclusiveness which ensures that even the common man has a bank account,” and added that the UPA had failed to sustain its progressive schemes especially in Udupi.

He urged the district in-charge minister to break his silence and clarify the views on the Tiger Project because the people are in a dilemma over the project.

He raised issues about encroachment of land from small farmers as well as land holders. Nearly 10,000 families have been given notice for clearance of land in the district as well as 40 families from Karkala region. Hegde urged the state government to withdraw an affidavit from
the Supreme Court and demanded the convening of a constituent-level meeting.

Hegde also stressed the need for regularization and free supply of electricity to poor farmers.

Geethanjali Suvarna, ZP member, Sandhya Ramesh, district deputy president, Jeevan Kumar Shetty and Kiran Kumar, former CMC president, were present.

Marcel, Price rice was relentless in the previous regime as well. and you guys kept quiet, simply because it was done by a foreigner. Did you ever see a slash in petrol prices ever ? No,, so just sit tight, relax and enjoy, If you are not satisfied, then just migrate somewhere else its as simple as that. You Khangress supporters will never learn,,come out of the slave mindset and the desire to be ruled by a foreigner.

It's look like you migrated to Amsterdam (a foreign country) due to Price rice of UPA regime. Now, you can pack your bag, take a flight, sit tight and come back to India to enjoy the development. Come out from foreign country instead of doing their slavery and educate yourself to improve your mindset.
