Bangalore, Sep 8: After much search, director A P Arjun has zeroed in actress, model and Miss India Universe 2012, Urvashi Rautela as Darshan's heroine in his latest film 'Airavatha'.

Earlier, actress Erica Fernandes was selected as the original heroine of the film. Erica also participated in the muhurath of the film also. However, she was replaced as the film team found her too skinny opposite Darshan. Erica was down with chicken pox a few months back and the actress had lost too much of weight.

After a long search Arjun has finally selected Urvashi Rautela as the heroine of the film. Earlier, Urvashi had acted opposite Sunny Deol in 'Singh Saab The Great'. 'Airavatha' is her first film in South India.

Darshan will be seen playing the role of a cop after a long time in 'Airavatha'. The film will be produced by Sandesh Nagaraj. Harikrishna has composed the music for the film. The film is expected to hit screens early next year.
