Kundapur: Actress Anushka Shetty pays obeisance at Kollur temple

Kundapur, Sep 10: Tamil and Telugu cine actress Anushka Shetty visited Goddess Mookambika Temple at Kollur in the taluk on Tuesday September 9.

She paid obeisance to the presiding deity and offered special puja. She returned after watching the afternoon Mahamangalarati and receiving the Prasadam.

Anushka, who has shot to fame with her Telugu movie 'Arundhati', will soon be seen opposite Rajinikanth in Tamil movie, 'Lingaa'. She belongs to Bellippady family from Puttur.

On her arrival at the temple from Mangalore at about 12 pm, Anushka was received by president of temple managing committee, Krishnaprasad Adyantaya. The actress was accompanied by her father Vittal Shetty and others during her visit.

Temple executive officer L S Maruti, superintendent Ramakrishna and assistant executive officer Krishnamurthy were present. Priest Sudarshan Jois administered the puja rituals.
